If you're months (or years) behind on your books, you're not alone, and you're not in trouble. Catch-up bookkeeping is exactly what it sounds like: getting your records current so you finally know where your business stands. Here's how it works and how to tell if it's you.

Let me say the reassuring part first, because I know the shame that comes with this one. Falling behind on your books does not make you a bad business owner. It makes you a busy one. You've been running the business, serving customers, and keeping the lights on. The bookkeeping quietly slid to the bottom of the list. That's the most normal thing in the world.
Catch-up bookkeeping is the fix. It's the process of going back through the months or years you missed and getting every transaction recorded, categorized, and reconciled, so your books are accurate and current again.
When I do a catch-up, I'm rebuilding the real story of your business from the records you already have:
People sometimes mix this up with cleanup bookkeeping. They're cousins. Catch-up is when nothing has been recorded and we're building it from scratch. Cleanup is when things were recorded, but wrong, and we're fixing the errors. A lot of businesses need a bit of both, and that's fine.
You probably need catch-up bookkeeping if any of these sound familiar:
Behind-the-scenes, messy books quietly cost you money in ways that don't show up until they hurt:
It's not as painful as you're imagining. We start with a quick consultation to see how far behind you are and what records exist. I give you a flat quote up front, so there are no surprises, then I do the heavy lifting in QuickBooks. You get current books, real reports, and a clear picture of your business, usually for the first time in a long time.
From there, staying current is easy. Once you're caught up, ongoing monthly bookkeeping keeps you there, and next tax season is a non-event instead of a nightmare.
Catch-up bookkeeping almost always pays for itself. It recovers deductions you were about to lose, it makes your tax return cheaper and cleaner, and it hands you back the one thing every owner wants: knowing exactly where you stand. If you've been avoiding this because it feels overwhelming, let's just get it done, no judgment.

No judgment, just clean records and a clear picture. QuickBooks-based, accurate, and done right.
